So you just sat down at your computer to crank out some work and it took forever just to start up. Then forty five minutes into creating that presentation, that needed to be done yesterday, your computer just freezes up! No good reason why, but the fact is your work is lost and your computer is basically an expensive night light at this point.
There is hope! Do any of these problems sound familiar?
Is the start up time slow?
Are the simplest tasks taking longer and longer to complete?
Does your computer crash or freeze up for no reason?
Does you screen simply go blue?
When surfing the internet does your browser get stuck in the never ending "downloading" cycle?
Your favorite programs giving you error messages?
If can answer yes to any of the above then a scan of your registry is in order.
You may be asking yourself at this point "Why has my computer begun to act this way"? The answer is is pretty simple. The registry in your computer is the database where all of the files and settings are kept. This database needs to be very organized in order for your operating system to find the information it needs to execute tasks quickly. Over time, the cumulative affects of surfing the web, online gaming, loading and deleting programs, ad-ware, spy-ware and viruses all take their toll on the registry. Errors within the registry begin to have a negative impact on how your computer runs.
Your computer, similar to any piece of equipment needs regular maintenance and tuning up. If you don't perform the tune-ups performance suffers. Using a readily available registry cleaner will allow you to avoid problems down the road.
